A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares individuals to become licensed registered nurses. These programs provide a foundation in nursing theory, science, and clinical practice. The curriculum typically includes coursework in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal-newborn nursing, pediatric nursing, and mental health nursing.
