A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares individuals for entry-level practice as registered nurses. This rigorous program integrates classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and clinical experiences to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to deliver safe and effective patient care. The curriculum encompasses a broad range of subjects, including anatomy and physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal-newborn nursing, pediatric nursing, and mental health nursing. Clinical rotations provide students with hands-on experience in various healthcare settings, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts and develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), which, upon passing, grants licensure as a Registered Nurse. The ultimate goal of the program is to equip students with the competencies to provide compassionate and patient-centered care, advocate for patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession.
