Mountainland Technical College’s Registered Nursing (RN) program (ADN/ASN) provides students with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience necessary to become competent and compassionate registered nurses. The program prepares graduates to provide direct patient care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The curriculum integrates classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experiences, allowing students to apply theoretical concepts in real-world settings. Students will learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to preparing students for the NCLEX-RN exam, the national licensure examination for registered nurses.
