A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares students to become entry-level registered nurses. The program provides a strong foundation in nursing theory, scientific principles, and clinical practice. Students learn how to assess patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The goal of the RN program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. Through classroom instruction, laboratory simulations, and extensive clinical experiences, students gain hands-on experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), and upon passing, become licensed Registered Nurses.
