A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), is a foundational program designed to prepare graduates for entry-level nursing practice. The goal of the program is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Students will learn essential nursing concepts, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology, as well as develop clinical skills through hands-on training in various healthcare settings. The curriculum also focuses on promoting health, preventing illness, and managing chronic conditions. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), and upon passing, they are licensed as Registered Nurses and able to pursue a variety of career opportunities in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare organizations. Emphasis is placed on professional development, ethical conduct, and lifelong learning.
