The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program is designed to prepare students for entry-level practice as registered nurses. This program combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experiences, providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients of all ages. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, mental health nursing, and maternal-child nursing. Students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. A significant portion of the program involves clinical rotations in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills under the supervision of experienced registered nurses. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed registered nurses.
