MCVSD Nursing Programs in Freehold, New Jersey

The Registered Nursing (RN) program at MCVSD is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience necessary to become competent and compassionate registered nurses. This program emphasizes a holistic approach to patient care, integrating scientific principles, critical thinking, and ethical considerations into nursing practice. Students will learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. The curriculum includes classroom instruction, laboratory simulations, and extensive clinical rotations, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations. A significant focus is placed on preparing students for the NCLEX-RN examination, the national licensure exam for registered nurses. Upon successful completion of the program and passing the NCLEX-RN, graduates will be eligible to practice as registered nurses and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
