A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares students for entry-level nursing practice. The program provides a blend of classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and clinical rotations to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe and effective patient care. Students learn about fundamental nursing concepts, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from basic sciences to specialized areas such as medical-surgical nursing, maternal-child health, mental health, and community health. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to clinical practice, where students gain hands-on experience working with patients under the supervision of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN examination, the national licensure exam for registered nurses. Passing the NCLEX-RN exam allows graduates to become licensed registered nurses and practice in a variety of healthcare settings.
