A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to become competent and compassionate entry-level registered nurses. The program integrates coursework in nursing theory, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, and psychology. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to hands-on clinical experiences in various healthcare settings. These experiences allow students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world patient care scenarios, under the supervision of experienced registered nurses and faculty. The curriculum emphasizes patient-centered care, critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and effective communication. A key goal of the program is to prepare students for successful passage of the NCLEX-RN examination and to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations across the lifespan. Upon graduation and successful completion of the NCLEX-RN, graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as Registered Nurses.
