A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), is a comprehensive educational pathway designed to prepare individuals for entry-level nursing practice. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe, competent, and patient-centered care across various healthcare settings. Students will learn foundational nursing concepts, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and microbiology, as well as develop essential clinical skills such as medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to clinical experiences, where students apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world healthcare settings under the supervision of experienced nurses and faculty. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed registered nurses. The overarching goal of an RN program is to graduate qualified and compassionate nurses who can contribute to the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
