An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program is designed to prepare individuals for entry-level practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). The program typically spans two years and combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience. Students learn foundational nursing concepts, including patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and disease management. Clinical rotations provide opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world healthcare settings, working under the supervision of experienced nurses. The goal of the program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), which is required for licensure as a Registered Nurse. The program also prepares students for potential career advancement and further education in nursing.
