A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), provides a foundation for a rewarding career in healthcare. The program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe and effective patient care across various settings. Students learn to assess patients’ health status, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. The curriculum typically integrates classroom instruction, laboratory simulations, and hands-on clinical experiences to foster critical thinking and clinical judgment. A significant focus is placed on patient safety, ethical considerations, and culturally competent care. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Successfully passing this exam allows graduates to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse and begin their careers in a variety of roles, including direct patient care, health education, and care coordination.
