The Registered Nursing (RN) program, commonly offered as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), provides students with the foundational knowledge and clinical skills necessary to enter the nursing profession. The program aims to prepare graduates to provide safe, competent, and patient-centered care across the lifespan and in a variety of healthcare settings. Through a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory simulations, and supervised clinical experiences, students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and ethical decision-making. The program culminates in eligibility to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination, the national licensure exam required to practice as a registered nurse.
