A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), is designed to prepare students to become competent and compassionate registered nurses. The program provides a strong foundation in nursing theory, principles, and skills, equipping graduates to deliver safe and effective patient care across various healthcare settings. Students learn to assess patients’ health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. Clinical rotations are an integral part of the curriculum, providing hands-on experience in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. The program emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling graduates to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Passing the NCLEX-RN is required to obtain licensure as a registered nurse.
