A Registered Nursing (RN) program, typically offered as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares students for entry-level practice as registered nurses. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. The curriculum integrates classroom instruction, laboratory simulations, and clinical experiences to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. A core objective is preparing graduates to successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), a nationwide examination for the licensing of nurses in the United States and Canada. Upon successful completion of the program and passing the NCLEX-RN, graduates are eligible to apply for licensure as a Registered Nurse and begin their nursing career.
