Caddo Kiowa Technology Center Nursing Programs in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma

The Registered Nursing (RN) program at Caddo Kiowa Technology Center, like most ADN or ASN programs, is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become competent and caring entry-level registered nurses. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experiences to prepare graduates to provide direct patient care across the lifespan. Key areas of study include foundational sciences, nursing theory, and clinical practice. Students will learn to assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. A strong emphasis is placed on critical thinking, communication, and ethical decision-making. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Passing the NCLEX-RN leads to licensure as a Registered Nurse, opening doors to a rewarding and in-demand career in various healthcare settings.
