A Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares individuals for entry-level practice as registered nurses. The program provides a solid foundation in nursing theory, clinical skills, and ethical principles. Students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. Clinical experiences are a vital component, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world healthcare settings under the supervision of experienced nurses. The ultimate goal of the RN program is to equip graduates with the competence and confidence to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. Graduates are then eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and, upon successful completion, become licensed registered nurses, ready to contribute to the healthcare team and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
