Malone University Nursing Programs in Canton, Ohio

A Registered Nursing (RN) program, typically offered as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares students to become licensed registered nurses. The program provides a foundation in nursing principles, biological and behavioral sciences, and liberal arts. Students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to clinical practice, where students gain hands-on experience in various healthcare settings under the supervision of experienced nurses and faculty. The goal of the program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to individuals, families, and communities across the lifespan. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed registered nurses.
