An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program prepares students for a career as a Registered Nurse (RN). These programs typically take two years of full-time study to complete and provide a solid foundation in nursing theory and practice. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment necessary to provide safe and effective patient care across the lifespan. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to hands-on clinical experiences in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world situations. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN examination, the national licensure exam for nurses. Passing the NCLEX-RN allows graduates to become licensed RNs and pursue entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare organizations. The overall goal is to prepare competent and compassionate nurses who are committed to improving the health and well-being of their patients and communities.
