The Registered Nursing (RN) program at Alliance Career Center, typically an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as a registered nurse. This intensive program provides a strong foundation in nursing theory, clinical practice, and critical thinking skills. Students will learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including medical-surgical nursing, maternal-child health, mental health, pharmacology, and anatomy and physiology. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to hands-on clinical experience in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills under the supervision of experienced nurses. The ultimate goal of the RN program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to individuals, families, and communities, and to successfully pass the NCLEX-RN exam.
