The Registered Nursing (RN) program at Saint Elizabeth College of Nursing, like most ADN/ASN programs, is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in healthcare. This program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to provide safe and effective patient care across a variety of settings. The curriculum encompasses a broad range of topics, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, mental health nursing, and maternal-child health. A significant portion of the program involves hands-on clinical experience in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, allowing students to apply their knowledge under the supervision of experienced nurses. A primary goal of the program is to prepare graduates to successfully pass the NCLEX-RN examination and become licensed Registered Nurses. Upon graduation, students are prepared to assume entry-level RN positions, contributing to the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, all while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
