A Registered Nursing (RN) program, typically an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), prepares students to become licensed registered nurses. The program curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in nursing theory, science, and clinical practice. Students learn to assess patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. A significant portion of the program involves hands-on clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills under the supervision of experienced nurses. The ultimate goal of the program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional attributes necessary to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan and in diverse populations. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed registered nurses.
