Central Michigan University Nursing Programs in Mount Pleasant, Michigan

An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program, commonly referred to as an RN program, is designed to prepare students for entry-level practice as a registered nurse. These programs provide a strong foundation in the biological, behavioral, and nursing sciences. Students learn essential skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and health education. A significant portion of the program involves clinical rotations in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge under the supervision of experienced nurses and other healthcare professionals. The ultimate goal of an RN program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional attributes necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to individuals, families, and communities.
