The Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), is designed to prepare students for entry-level practice as registered nurses. The program focuses on providing a strong foundation in nursing theory and clinical skills, enabling graduates to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to diverse patient populations. Students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. A significant portion of the program involves hands-on clinical experience in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills under the supervision of experienced nurses. The curriculum also emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and ethical decision-making, essential qualities for success in the nursing profession. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and, upon passing, become licensed Registered Nurses. The overall goal of the RN program is to prepare competent and caring nurses who can meet the healthcare needs of individuals, families, and communities.
