The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Mid Michigan College, like most RN programs, is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as a registered nurse. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in nursing theory and practice, equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients of all ages. Students will learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, perform therapeutic procedures, and educate patients and families. A significant portion of the program involves hands-on clinical experience in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge and develop clinical competence under the guidance of experienced nurses. The program aims not only to prepare students to pass the NCLEX-RN examination and become licensed registered nurses but also to instill in them a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to enter the workforce as entry-level registered nurses in a wide range of healthcare settings.
