The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program prepares students to become Registered Nurses (RNs). This program provides a foundation in nursing theory and practice, covering a wide range of medical specialties. Students will learn to assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to clinical rotations, where students gain hands-on experience under the supervision of experienced nurses in various healthcare settings. The program aims to develop competent, compassionate, and ethical nurses who are prepared to provide high-quality patient care. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), which is required to become a licensed Registered Nurse. The program’s ultimate goal is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for a successful and fulfilling career in nursing.
