The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), sometimes referred to as an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), program prepares students for a rewarding career as a Registered Nurse (RN). This program is designed to provide a strong foundation in the art and science of nursing, blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical experience. Students learn essential skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and communication. The curriculum covers a broad range of topics, from basic sciences like anatomy and physiology to specialized areas such as medical-surgical nursing, mental health nursing, and maternal-child nursing. A key component of the program is extensive clinical rotations, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world healthcare settings. The ultimate goal of the RN program is to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe, compassionate, and effective care to patients across the lifespan and to successfully pass the NCLEX-RN exam, enabling them to become licensed registered nurses.
