The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program is a two-year educational program designed to prepare individuals for a career as a Registered Nurse (RN). This program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care across the lifespan. The curriculum integrates classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and clinical rotations to provide a well-rounded education. Students learn foundational nursing concepts, medical terminology, and essential nursing skills, such as medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to clinical practice, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world healthcare settings under the supervision of experienced RNs. The ultimate goal of the program is to prepare graduates to successfully pass the NCLEX-RN examination and obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse, enabling them to provide compassionate and competent care to individuals, families, and communities.
