The Registered Nursing (RN) program at Stone Academy-Waterbury, like other RN programs, is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as a Registered Nurse. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in nursing theory, sciences, and clinical practice. Students will learn to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan and in a variety of healthcare settings. The curriculum integrates classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and extensive clinical rotations to ensure students develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities to excel in the nursing profession. A major emphasis is placed on patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and interprofessional collaboration. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and, upon passing, become licensed Registered Nurses.
