The Registered Nursing (RN) program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as a registered nurse. This program typically combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience. Students learn foundational nursing concepts, including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, and medical-surgical nursing. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to clinical rotations in various healthcare settings. These rotations provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge under the supervision of experienced nurses. The goal of the RN program is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical values necessary to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care across the lifespan. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Passing the NCLEX-RN is required to become a licensed registered nurse.
