A Registered Nursing (RN) program, like an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program, prepares students to become entry-level registered nurses. The program’s curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in nursing theory, sciences (anatomy, physiology, microbiology), and clinical practice. Students learn to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, perform treatments, and educate patients and families. A significant portion of the program involves hands-on clinical experience in various healthcare settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge under the supervision of experienced nurses and faculty. The ultimate goal of the RN program is to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to diverse populations, and to successfully pass the NCLEX-RN licensure examination and begin their careers as registered nurses.
